We lose him and EVERYONE is gone. Recruits, current players. Gus would never have a chance.

Like IGAF. Without a change in discipline we may as well have kept chiz. We need a culture change at auburn and we will not get it until we wipe the program clean. If I see Trooper go behind the head coach after he chews out a player one more time, I will flip a lid.

Thats his job though. To bring in talent and then appease them.

We can reverse the discipline problem without getting rid of all of our good players. It's all a mentality thing. Trooper won't undermine him if Gus doesn't allow him to. Chiz allowed him to.

Yeah, UGA might hire Trooper Taylor. If only so we could lock him in the basement of the Butts-Mehre facility and never let him out.

I think it'd be in Auburn's best interest long term wise if they got rid of the guy... I can understand wanting to keep together a good recruiting class for your new coach though.

It's not just this recruiting class. If Trooper goes we lose every skill player he recruited.

I still think he's a good coach even though he likes to be the good guy. He produced a lot of great WR talent at Tennessee and Ok St.

I think the lack of production at the WR position here has more to do with horrible QBs and a watered down offense the last two years.

Also, we would be absolutely retarded to let Trooper go anywhere.

Hands off of the Berry twins.

Don't forget that he coached RB's at UT in 2005 and 2006. Did a great job with Foster and Hardesty.

He's a good coach, other teams just hate him because he's a great recruiter.

Don't underestimate the effectiveness of Trooper's recruiting. If we are going to keep the same shit culture by hiring Malzahn we may as well embrace it and keep the good recruiters despite the discipline issues because we'll have those either way.

We won't have to stack the box, our athletes are better. Read the first sentence, Auburn won't have over 175. Bet anything you want, it's not gonna happen. That's the one thing Bama can do without a doubt 100% mark it down, and have been for years.

If you're going to bet, it will be longer than signing day. This is a rivalry that lasts 365 days, you would have to at least keep it until next football season or this isn't even worth mentioning. Besides, Bama could be winning late in the game and the scrubs get the 200.
Either way, it won't be happening to Bama's defense.

If ya'll don't get rid of him, hes going to end up getting the NCAA all over ya'll. Wouldn't be worth it for me.

"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."
