Gus is a solid hire, he is not going to win the SEC West but he will be getting the Tiggrs back to a bowl. He is a proven QB coach and OC, and has a big playbook. Give this guy 2 or 3 years of working with the talent Chiz couldn't develop and it will a whole new program.
Auburns collapse after Gus leaving only strengthens the argument that he really was the brains behind the offense - they didn't do squat with out him. He is as good as any recent hire in the SEC.
