"I didn't come to Alabama to win 10 games a year and be a contender. I came here to win championships. Conference Championships and National Championships. I love it here because that's just not what I want, but what this fan base expects." --Alabama Head Football Coach, Nick Saban

My pump gun may just kick so bad because the butt pad was sort of hardened when I got it. The remington 870 is highly regarded as the best pump shotgun that doesn't cost close to $1000 bucks. Double barrels are often used for skeet/birds because you only need 2 shots (and I think you also need a magazine plug to limit your shots to 3 for most birds). IDK why you would want a 20 in that instead of a 12, but look at what is out there and select what you think suits you best. You're the one who is going to be shooting it. Shoot some friends guns to see if you like them.
Give this a read.

I use the o/u for duck and dove hunting now. It can shoot a 3 in shell so all I have to do is worry bout chokes. btw-a gun only kicks when you miss. you don't notice the kick or the noise when you hit what you are shooting at.
