the only thing i want to do is bring oxford down to reality.  i dont want to depict it as a shithole.  its not, rather, i want to depict it for what it really is.  surely you see the hypocrisy in some of your posts.

Bingo.

Some folks are just too stupid to realize they are stupid.

It wasn't made by OM fans. Good grief dude. Scott Burton just does videos of some sporting events and weddings as well. He's not an OM fan so don't give me that garbage excuse

That atmosphere is 2nd to none I don't care who you are

surely you jest....my wife used to work with scott's wife and he is a huge ole miss fan.  HUGE.  you could not be any more inaccurate with that post.

scott was doing the stop-motion of the square and grove pro-bono so that om could get gameday to come to oxford.  smh.  wildly inaccurate post bro.

Sorry i dont know the guy personally. An OM fan and a professional photographer are 2 different things though I can tell you that, he might be both, but he's still a paid photographer.

And before you try to make an attempt to justify JDawgs comments, tell me ONE thing in the video that would make the video homerish towards Ole Miss?? The video tape don't lie. His fanhood had absolutely nothing to do with the substance of the video

i never said he was an om homer....just a huge fan.  never did i accuse him of having an agenda of misrepresenting ole miss in a positive light.

hes a good fan that thought he could make an impact.  he does really great work and honestly, the stuff he does independently is 10x better than our entire media department...which is really sad.  om has top-notch productions.  ours on the other hand are total garbage.  our university decided to quash all independent videographers from using game footage....now we dont even have fan-made "hype" videos because our athletic dept crushes the little guys that do things to help the university.

Y'all don't have pre game hype videos shown on video board?

I've never been impressed with our marketing, but our video production within the football program has been phenomenal lately. Big turnaround since Bjork got here

I definitely agree, this year has been awesome as far as video media and hype videos.  The crowd involvement this year has really fed off of it and I have had more fun at the games this year than I have had since Eli's days.  They played the same old tired videos with footage solely from before I was even born for years.  I think Bjork gets it, unlike his predecessor.  Respect the tradition, embrace the future!

This whole discussion is asinine.

Having been to both, both have their great places and both have their shitty places.

Homerism takes hold in this argument. I stated long ago which town I thought was better and I'll leave it at that.

We can both agree that Hattiesburg is an absolute shithole all around, right?

no, we have university media made hype videos....thats not what i was talking about....scott stricklin (maybe at the direction of espn, the sec or other sources) would not allow our own fans to make the pre-season youtube hype videos using espn footage....the kind that were put together for the nick bell tributes and such.  specifically, there was a state fan that worked for a tupelo news station that did a lot of video editing and was told by the athletic dept to stop.  his videos were removed from youtube.  there is a thread about it on sixpackspeak, but it sounded like he wasnt hurting anyone, but somebody got pissed because he was using espn footage without their consent, now there are nearly zero fan videos.  the dude did a great job with it and was pretty talented....it kind of rubbed some of the fans the wrong way because the productions were promoting msu yet msu was the one that stopped it...(honestly, it probably wasnt state's choice in the matter and probably did violate some copywright laws, but everyone was doing it and many schools continue to do it which kinda pissed the dude off).
