I've read that Mark Stoops has offered FSU's DC and OC the same position at Kentucky. Maybe Jimbo really IS a prick to work for.

Jimbo is probably not a prick, just a control freak that isn't good at it like Saban and Meyer were/are.

I heard he's taking a couple of the position coaches on the defensive side and the OC/recruiting mastermind Coley.
Hope it's true.

Wasn't he FSU DC? Is he offering it to his brand spanking new (maybe unnamed yet) replacement?

DJ Eliot (DE Coach @ FSU) looks like will be our DC (Stoops will assist) and James Coley has been mentioned as coming to be OC/Recruiting Coordinator.  However, there are several being interviewed including former Cat Neal Brown (Tx Tech - OC) who may bring back the "Air Raid" offense to Lexington.

All announcements should come this week or so.

Well, sorry I guess I misspoke. He offered the DC job to the FSU defensive ends coach, who worked under him at FSU.

This would be an awesome Christmas present.

Stoops and Coley were the only bright spots on that entire staff.

Gotcha. I just didn't know if FSU had already hired somebody worth taking.

Don't think so. I was assuming Eliot would be the natural replacement for Stoops is that's who Stoops wants to come be his DC.
