Eiffert is a machine. OU could stop Notre Dame on 1st and 2nd down. On 3rd they would put him at WR and run short routes with him. He is to quick for most LB's to cover over the middle and too big for CB's to be effective. Just a tough matchup. If Saban can figure out a way to make him a non-factor, their chances of winning go way up.

It starts with pressure up front and forcing a hurried throw. I think you need an athletic corner to knock the ball away or hold him until help arrives.

We really do need to get a Notre Dame fan on the site ofr this game. Having a ND fan will make it much more entertaining.

Eiffert is a risky matchup. Our LB's, outside of Mosley, have not been great in coverage this year. I don't see ND having the athleticism to match up with us on the outside, but if Gholson can escape the pocket a few times and get our LBs to break from their position, Eiffert could have a few big catches in the middle of the field. I don't see ND scoring a lot, but I'm sure their gameplan is to make sure we don't score a lot either. I'm excited. Shame we have to wait more than a month for it.

When it's 3rd and 10, we shuffle out our secret weapon... he's the only person we ever want calling the next play... some call him the twelfth man.... we call him the whiskey drinker...

With ND having a QB that can run, Smart will use the "mush rush" or whatever its called. They have to worry more about containing him than worry about his arm. Make him throw it.
Yes mush rush. Make him uncomfortable and maybe get a hand on him. If you let him have too much time he will find an open guy.

Dude is not JF. Not that big or accurate. JF was hard to tackle. This dude is like 6-1 and 185. We could break him with one hit.

Bump?
We're a week closer since the last post. I figured some ND fans would have filtered in here by now.
