Still don't get why Michigan went for it on 4th down at their own 35 with 8 minutes to play. South Carolina had five touchdowns today and only one of them was a result of driving down the field against the Michigan D. Very costly decision by Hoke. I know they ended up "making" (not really) the first down on the fake, but the next play was the Clowneygeddon...which was the game's difference-maker.

How far back did Smith's helmet roll? Good gosh. I don't think I've seen a more vicious hit in CFB this year. And it was clean, too. Not one of these cheap-shot hits you see so often on highlight reels. Clowney just got into the backfield and put his shoulder right under the chinstrap.

That hit was vindication for every official that has screwed with the outcome of a game. Too bad Smith had to pay the price, but football fans everywhere that could care less which team won, were disgusted by that call. Clowney answered it for everyone that was still shaking his head over that B1G official trying to stick his finger in the pie. At least I think they were B1G officials, that could've been the cLIMPson, LessU game.

You USC fans know I was just itching to bring back that ND thread, where everybody was giving me sh*t for saying Michigan was a very good team with a very good D.
Anyways...congrats. Great game, great win.

Until we start playing the best QB and the best RBs this is what we have to expect. OL play was awful.
Defense can't stay on the field for 70%+ of the game and be expected to hold a lead. Just glad we were able to make the plays we needed to for the "W" and the team never quit playing 100%.
Proud of this team. Still confused by coaching and personnel decision-making.

Yeah the O line needs MAJOR offseason work. IMO we should promote elliot to full OC and hire a OL coach, i think he has too much on his plate. but i doubt Spurs would fly for not being in control of the offense.
