This should be a really good and close bowl game.  I think Miss State will win, but it might be very close.  Go SEC!

How can somebody as old as you are whine as much as you do?
I'm certain the national media is relieved. They can kiss State's ass and go back to the old "Ole Miss is Waycist" narrative. Meanwhile I hope Gameday has fun in Morgantown. Look out for burning couches!

I think it will be a game that comes down to the end, maybe decided by a big play.

This is the toughest match-up for the SEC to win, imo. Pat Fitzgerald has a real good team. Statistically both teams are fairly close. NW ranks 42nd in scoring offense, MSU is 55th. NW ranks 31st in scoring defense, MSU is 28th.

I'm leaning toward Northwestern because I think Northwestern has beaten some better competition than MSU has.

Just looking at the stats, the only thing in our favor seems to be they're almost 1 dimensional.  IIRC they're like a top 25 or 30 rushing attack but are 100+ in passing.  Our Ds only bright spot is they can cover one dimensional teams...

When did we learn our defense could handle anybody? The only BCS teams we shut down were Auburn and Kentucky.  You guys are setting yourselves up for a big disappointment.

I really don't expect us to win this game due that they run the spread offense and we haven't stopped it all year. They'll blitz us and our offense will sputter like a retired military jet with no gas.

that is only old school if "truth" and "justice" are the names of your left and right fists.  otherwise, somebody told you wrong.
