Would've rather had Petrino, but Gus was my second choice.

I have no qualms.

I always assumed he was the brains behind 2010.

Well.... Can't do anything but support the new regime...

War Damn Eagle.

Bye Petrino, I wish we could have been something. I really do.

Hell... I would have preferred Kirby over Gus...

But again, war eagle and let's hope for the best.

I always assumed Cam Newton was behind 2010 more than anything.

Kirby would have been better, IMO. I don't think this is a good hire. Guessing one of the perks for AU is they think they can keep some of the current staff.

Him + Cam and a great o-line, yes.

We only ran his real HUNH the first 5 games of 2009 because Chizik got tired of it. Now we get to see what it really will look like.

When did he say that?

It's on, uh, well, it's posted on an Auburn-themed site that posts stuff and stuff.
I kept failing a math test at the University of Alabama because every time I added 5+3 I got 8 and they kept insisting that the right answer was 14.

Back in the mid-90s UT AD Doug Dickey got the NCAA to credit Philip Fulmer with the wins he unofficially coached the season that he wrested the program away Johnny Majors.  Auburn oughta just go back and give Guz credit for 2010 now.

75% of our roster was recruited to run Gus Malzahns offense. We'll be fine.

I imagine his familiarity with the program will be really helpful.
There weren't any big name coaches out there so the Aubs decided to try and find someone for the long haul I guess.

Maybe so but I'm not sure that his offense is gonna work. It didn't look good at all without Cam there. Just an interesting way to go. If they were seriously considering Kirby, then that's two different ideologies entirely. Just an interesting choice. Maybe it works out but I just think y'all could have done better.

It looked good in 2009 and we apparently didn't run it hardly at all in 2011.

I still think we could have done better too, though. Original Image: <a href='http://www.sectalk.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/lanekiffin.gif' class='bbc_url' title=''>http://www.sectalk.c.../lanekiffin.gif</a> Gus.
