If that's his "schtick", no wonder he's begging for views for his POS blog.

Plateau my ass.  We were 6-7 in 2010, losing to a C-USA team in the bowl.  New defensive coaching staff and a redshirt freshman QB.  In 2011, a 10-4 team that won the East despite getting blown out vs LSU who were stomped by Alabama for the NC a month later.  So far in 2012, we're 11-2 with losses only to two top ten conference teams, the last by 4 points with the ball on the Bama 5 when time expired.

This program is on the rise.  A deep and large recruiting class loaded with quality linemen will continue the trend.

For you to piss and moan about Richt like you do, then refusing to call for Richt's ouster........makes you look like the pussy that Oliver posed so well as last night.  Stand behind your convictions man........don't puss out like Chuckie did.

Both of you clowns next to exit the internet and find yourselves a damn warehouse job somewhere to vent your ill concluded frustrations..........

Tell how we are on the rise in year 22 of Richt and still don't have a title.  You can't ask to fire a coach with his record this year.  It is just sad how proud so many fans are of a loss.

Yeah, God forbid we respect him.
Last I saw this is a message board. Be kinda boring place if nobody had an opinion. You seriously need to root for someone else, man.
Said the Bama fan who has everything going right for his program.
Was Shula all that bad?  Wasn't he rebuilding a mess?  Should all Bammeroids started pulling for another program when he wasn't good enough?

You can't really objectively compare Shula to Richt. It's not even a contest.

Yeah....just keep telling yourself whatever you need to tell yourself.  We lost......AGAIN.  Moral victories are for Vanderbilt.

No TRB the point is it is easy to tell another fan base how to deal with loses.  We lost because we were not good enough for whatever reason.  All the "good game don't hang your heads" crap is what you would say to Kentucky or Vandy after a loss.

Yeah, matter of fact Shula was that bad. He sucked to be honest. You're honestly going to say Richt is/was as bad as Shula ? We had a reason to bitch. Sorry, you don't.
"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

Using your dumbass logic, Dooley would have never been around in the late 70s and Herchel would have gone to Clemson instead.

Programs are built and maintained over a long period....it takes some coaches longer than others at certain programs. Alabama has the great luxury of long standing traditions and deep recruiting classes built over time, for which they get great credit.  Also, having 9 extra assistant coaches (known as analysts) is another factor that is hard to overcome in one or two seasons.

I'm convinced Richt, with McGarity's help, will eventually get us there.  We were closer this year than any other season in 30 years.

For clueless ill-informed idiots like you that spew mindless nonsense like you do, then not having the convictions to call for a coaching change.........well you single handedly prove you haven't the first ****ing idea of what you are talking about...........just a blabbling fool without a clue.

If CC had been LSU AD, Saban would have never got the job with his record at Michigan State.........

Great and good coaches get better over time..........Saban is a hell of a lot better coach now at Alabama than he was at LSU.  Richt is a better coach than in 2002 and 2005......and getting better.  MOST coaches don't win a NC until 10-15 years in, many in more years than that.  Richt is still making strides and willing to make the changes necessary to get there down the road...

I stand with CC and this Oliver guy, though probably wrong time to ask it.

Richt is a good coach who produces good teams. But he has talent that should produce elite, national championship winning teams.

He's the Johnny Majors of Georgia. Tennessee finally saw that it was better than the product Majors(even though Majors did produce good teams) was putting out there when Fulmer took over. Or similar to Fulmers final 10 or so years(though, Richt is superior in the Fulmer comparison).

You know one thing that I can't help but think from reading the comments from the game thread and now some here - why is @Titans4Vols being  such a huge bitch? From reading his comments last night I would have thought Richt got a BJ from his mom.

Georgia fans laughed when I said Richt blows it far more often than not in big games. He had an 11 point lead last night, blew it. Had a chance to win at the end, mental error cost them a shot to win the game.

It was typical Richt coached football, just like I pointed out in that thread a while back.

And again, it just goes to show. UGA fans can't deny it, they just call him a good man who doesn't deserve the criticism.

I heard the same shit with Fulmer, and while I wasn't old enough to hear all what was said about Majors, from what I've been told it was the same shit.
