Irish Scouting report on Bama:

"They are real good at blocking and injecting.... Not so good at spelling or pronunciation."

When it's 3rd and 10, we shuffle out our secret weapon... he's the only person we ever want calling the next play... some call him the twelfth man.... we call him the whiskey drinker...

IMO ND has no chance of stopping Bamas running attack.

Bama - 35
ND - 6

you honestly think bama will put up 35 points on ND's D?

Yes...I think ND is vastly overrated.

Notre Dame has a nice defense but they're not unstoppable.  They'll have a harder time scoring on us.

They really don't know what they're in for. I'm not saying they aren't tough but this ain't their daddy's or Ara Parseghian's SEC.

ND's defense might be better than any in the SEC. Don't shoot me....but neither defense was dominant last night.

That said, ND's offense is still garbage. Georgia had success due to some balance and picking apart the Bama secondary, but ND just doesn't have that same ability. Bama's D should overwhelm the Irish.

I believe that Notre Dame can load the box and stop Alabama's run....

then Alabama will turn the game over to AJ and Cooper.

It's about time for Kevin Norwood and Michael Williams to have another big game as well....

Isn't it ironic that today's college team will hand out a ring for an undefeated season, but it wasn't that way back in the day.  Rings meant something more because it's the sign of a champion.

This may not be Notre Dame's fault but I'm still gonna hold a grudge....

In the autumn of 1966, as the world teetered on the brink in a variety of ways, Paul "Bear" Bryant's University of Alabama Crimson Tide pursued the most elusive prize in college football—a third consecutive national championship. But something happened on the way to the history books. In an imperfect world, perfection on the field was not quite enough.

The Missing Ring is the story of the one that got away, the one that haunts Alabama fans still.

Led by the electrifying force of quarterback Kenny "Snake" Stabler and one of the most punishing defenses in the storied annals of the Southeastern Conference, the Crimson Tide cruised to a magical season. But Alabama finished with a dubious distinction: Undefeated, untied and uncrowned.

Visualize Jesse Williams taking out Manti Te'o.

Samoan on Samoan

"Once I knew it wasn't anything serious, I knew I could go back in the game and fight through it," said Williams, a 320-pound senior from Australia who sports a tattoo on the side of his head that reads, "Pain Is A Liar."

RJ Bell, of Pregame.com, delivered the news regarding the early lines for the BCS title game.

Current Alabama/Notre Dame line: LVH 7.5, Stations 8, BetOnline 8.5, Heritage 8.5, Wynn 9.5, 5Dimes 10 (+105)— RJ Bell (@RJinVegas) December 2, 2012

Alabama was the unanimous No. 1 team in the nation until its loss to Texas A&M in Tuscaloosa on Nov. 10. The Tide moved back up into a BCS title game position after Oregon and Kansas State suffered losses the following week, which also resulted in Notre Dame's ascension to the top spot in the polls and BCS standings.

What do you think of Alabama as a two-score favorite over Notre Dame?
