ing them all night, they didn't give up. They played their damn hearts out and put on a good show. It's a shame the good guys didn't win, but damn it for the first time in a long while I feel confident that Richt is the man for the job. Congrats Alabama, you guys have a hell of a running-back in Lacy.

You probably were expecting a rage induced anti-Richt thread from me. You're wrong though. I'm proud of the effort the team gave tonight vs. the number 1 team and coach in the nation. When they were behind they didn't give up, when the officials were butt

Yeah, I said something in the game thread, but this makes 2 huge games in a row where Georgia didn't piss themselves.
Hope they haven't decided to reverse the trend, but it looks that way.

The refs were awful for both teams...

Agreed. Naturally, I think it was tilted in Bama's favor. But they missed 400 holds on both O-lines. And that ball was not tipped by UGA. Tons of examples of subpar officiating.

The officials did suck in general, but the bad officiating benefited you guys a lot more than us tonight.
I of course am biased and will say they were equally bad for both teams

But yeah, back to the topic, this loss didn't make me lose confidence I'm Richt the way the last few have. I'm not taking away a moral victory, but the team showed a lot of signs of being well coached.

I still think we can make another run for the SEC next year. We lose a lot of defensive talent but return virtually everybody on offense. (O-line, Murray, Gurley and Marshall, Bennett, Rome, Lynch, Conley etc)

I just don't get how Alabama wasn't flagged for holding, they were holding Jordan Jenkins all night. Yet we get drive raping holding penalties 3 times tonight called on us. I don't know, can't really blame the officials since we got a token 1 or 2 beneficial calls but it'd be nice to have respectable officiating in this conference.
Tom Ritter is just seriously awful. Him, Owens, Wagers and Curles crews should be shit canned.

There is some decent depth on D. But it's really hard to replace dynamic playmakers like Jones, Rambo, and Ogletree. Plus the schedule gets tougher.
But maybe we can just outscore everybody.

We lose Jarvis but Jordan Jenkins will fill in his spot nicely. He's a beast already. I actually think the biggest loss on defense is John Jenkins.

Dammit. Forgot about him. I'm hoping Geathers stays to improve his stock. (pretty sure he's a junior)

I'm worried that Geathers will do something stupid like declare. The Geathers ALWAYS declare even if they're a 5th round pick.
