Who would it be? What player would Alabama and Georgia fans bring back for the game from their current coaches tenure at their respective schools? I'd like DJ Shockley. I think he could light up Alabama's defense.

Runner ups would be AJ Green, Charles Johnson and Pollack.

Good call on Shockley. There are lots of great players on D to choose from, but I would say we're okay on defense for this game.

AJ Green is interesting just because he can't be covered. But my biggest worry about this game is QB play. DJ was always cool under pressure and made some big plays against that stout LSU defense (we were big underdogs then) in the SECCG.

Yeah, Greene was another option at QB but I like Shockley's arm strength and most importantly how awesome he was at making plays with his feet much like Manziel.

Derrick Thomas, Cornelius Bennett or Courtney Upshaw. Our defense is strong, but we just don't have that one single alpha-dog type of player in the heart of the defense who seemingly gets into the backfield and disrupts practically every single play. With Georgia's balance on offense, a player with that kind of influence would be valuable. This year, we're sort of a production-by-committee defense. We don't have that one guy who can just take a game over all by himself. CJ Mosley is the closest thing, but he doesn't get into the backfield as much as those other guys because we use him more often for his ability in coverage.

Offensively, there's no question....it'd be Julio Jones by a landslide.

Let me clarify something for ya. When we talk about former Georgia players, Herschel Walker is always the unspoken default answer. We're just discussing 2nd place.

UGA all time pass efficiency leader?  Longest punt in UGA history?  Fertilizes the grass at Sanford?  All Herschel.

Herschel is also the coach behind the scenes. He merely pulls the strings and makes his demands.

Green, we need WRs more than a QB.

Didn't see whereTRB said 'current coaches tenure'.

In that case...Julio Jones on offense...Courtney Upshaw on defense....Javier Arenas on special teams.

If we lose, it's because Herschel just wasn't ready. The good Herschel giveth and taketh away.
