Hope Kent State makes it in so that we may see whose interpretation of the rule is correct.

That's not an interpretation - that's a fact. It's not my fault you don't understand the rules.

I think the problem is the fcktards over at espn and how they're interpreting it. I've heard them say a couple times that they would take the place of an AQ team. Which ultimately led to a lot of head scratching... Thought it was weird you would replace an, wait for it... Automatic. Qualifier.

Hell it'd be a lose-lose for CFB fans in general. Nobody wants to see another BCS bowl get wasted on a team like Kent State Florida.
Fixed.

Thought we'd already determined that should Kent State finish in the Top16, we will be playing the winner of the Louisville/Rutgers game.

Sugar Bowl wouldn't pick KS over the Big East champ, and poor F$U would have to play in an Orange Bowl worse than that Virginia Tech-Cincinnati game. Haha

Is this your preemptive strike to cover your ass when Bama beats Georgia and Georgia is forced to play in some non-BCS bowl?

"Look at the shitty team Florida is going to play, I rather Georgia play in the Outback Bowl instead of the Sugar Bowl"

Yeah..... that makes sense

I doubt you could find one Gator fan that wouldn't want to trade spots with us right now

Sugar may not have a choice. Their champ will get into the MNC, so they get first pick which they'll use on Florida. After that they may get last pick.

I think after that though, they are still ahead of the OB this year.

It's amazing that the OB has become such a POS destination in such a short amount of time.

Hob is correct, conference champs are protected

how the Big East kept that deal for so long is beyond me, but after next year, that party is over...

no, the Orange picks last - getting the MNC games puts them last in selection - that is why we got stuck with Hawaii when LSU played OSU in the MNCG in NOLA a few years back

Joe is correct on this one

Oklahoma could still get the shaft though I think.

It will be Oklahoma or Oregon getting the shaft

Odds are it won't be the Ducks. hell, it MAY not be able to be the Ducks. It looks like they will be an automatic at large selection under the same rule that gets UF in - ranked #4 in the BCS standings...

Even if they somehow are at 5, I can't see a 2 loss OK getting in over a 1 loss OR
