What logic are you using? They got blown out in the rematch.

The kind of sound logic that is beyond you gumps understanding.

There’s a military acronym — RHIP. It stands for, “Rank has its privileges.” Ranking matters in college football, where two-thirds of the BCS standings consist of human polls, and privilege has tangible benefits. The benefit of being Alabama is that you never have to explain yourself. You’re Bama. ‘Nuff said.

If Notre Dame said that, would you wanna puke? That's why the world hates you

You blowing out LSU in the re-match proves you can have two completely different results if the same two teams play two games. By your logic, Georgia getting blown out by LSU means they couldn't hang. However, there's no guarantee that we wouldn't have blown them out in a re-match.

No, I'm saying you don't deserve a rematch if you get blown out the first time. Nobody would want to give a team that got blown out 42-10 a rematch with that team.

It's getting hard to take this board seriously.

You didn't deserve a re-match with LSU. You got beat at home by them. You didn't win your division or play in the conference title game. You got one though.

It matters not WHICH game was a blow out. It being AT Alabama helps the argument even more

UGA D-line was thin.  The big players got worn out and that was game.  LSU would have exploited that in any subsequent games.

This thread is a gem. Nothing is for sure about this game except the fact that these are the two most hard-headed fanbases on this site.

You're right, you deserved to be.... #2... in your division. LSU was better than you. They played a tougher schedule, beat you in your house, and won their division. You backed into that game and didn't belong in it. If they had given us a re-match against LSU in the MNC game, maybe we would have beaten them, who knows? Point is, if you give a team enough chances, eventually they'll beat the other team. You never should have been there.

I wonder what this board would like if it was a Bama blowout

Our D got worn out because the offense couldn't  stay on the field in the 2nd half. You can chalk that up partly to our starting RB going down in the first half. Also, we had two dropped TD passes in the first half that would have given us a completely different game plan in the 2nd half.

Your speculation is invalid.
