The title is kind of misleading. Oldest as in, "year when it first started"? Or "longest SEC rivalry" in terms of most games played? Longest consecutive streak of annual games? Do OOC foes or former conference members still count (such as USC-Clemson, UGA vs GT, LSU-Tulane, etc.)
For example, LSU and Florida first played in about 1937. Their rivalry didn't become annual until about the 1970s.

Great point... You can go either way..start or number of games. Either is interseting!

Considering that it's called "The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry", I'm going to make a scientific guess that Auburn-Georgia is the oldest rivalry.

Do old SEC foes count? UGA-GT been played for quite some time even though those pussies ducked out

Assumming continous as well
Auburn-Georgia
Kentucky-Tennessee
no idea after that. I know the Iron Bowl was briefly discontinued to let tempers cool off so its out.
I imagine a lot of the instate games would be up there pretty high too.

More like they had a three year break. UF and LSU have played every year since 1953, with the exception of '68, 69, and '70.
