Jim Schwartz threw a red flag on a touchdown. The play should've been down about seventy yards back the field but throwing a red flag on a score which are all reviewed anyway makes the play not reviewable tiuchdown stands. It's like there is some kind of parasite that attacks the brain of lions coaches once they get to Detriot.

Agreed he's an idiot.   He has to know that rule.   However what a stupid rule.   The 15 yard penalty should be enough.

Replacement refs are sitting at their dinner tables bemoaning how much crap they would have gotten if they had missed a RB with elbow and knee down.

Agreed, they should never have missed it.

Lions got screwed, sure it's a rule but it's a dumb as hell one and it was painfully obvious that he was down.

"Hey guys, we were going to review this anyway, but since you asked, not only are we not going to review it anymore, we're gonna penalize you 15 yards, too! That's right, we are equating you asking for a review on a play we were going to review anyway with heinous penalties like roughing the quarterback and personal fouls!"

Stupidest rule in the NFL by far. It makes all the complicated receivers maintaining control for 800 years after the catch (When you can fumble the ball as soon as it crosses the goalline and that's fine) look like sensible, well-thought-out rules.
