Lots of names swirling around including Charlie Strong, Larry Fedora, John Gruden, Mike Gundy, Al Golden, and even Bob Stoops.  I look for us to really try to make a splash and if none of the huge names bite, then we settle for solid, no more risky projects like our last two hires.  So what say you, who is solid?

For our sake, I hope you hire Kirby Smart.

I hope you guys fire Mark Richt.  He seems to do quite well against us.  Even prior to the point where everyone started to do well against us.

Charlie Strong to Tennessee would be a homerun hire IMO.

As long as he has a good offensive coordinator. And someone else to call defensive plays on 3rd and 15.

I wish he could find it in him to replicate that success against Steven Goddam Spurrier.

Really tough to cock block without a veteran offensive line.  You guys are talented, but kinda young on the o-line, right?  Anyway, you've overcome and are still in the hunt for the ultimate prize.

People on volnation are smoking crack suggesting Fulmer! I appreciate what he did in his early years and he is all Tennessee but he cannot come back and coach this team. Geez!

He hasn't even been able to get a bad coaching job since he was canned.

He probably wouldn't for UT, but he was there was some discussion on the radio today about him not being happy there.

Oh, I'll go ahead and repeat that my city thinks Tressel will be the next Vols coach.

Has a record, can recruit and can be had cheap
