Manziel could be the first NCAA athlete to make money as a student-athlete.

I LOL'ed hard when I read this because somebody out there probably actually believes it.
I kept failing a math test at the University of Alabama because every time I added 5+3 I got 8 and they kept insisting that the right answer was 14.

Yep,hundred dollar handshakes, etc, have been around since I can remember. It happens everywhere.

Just give the kids a cut of the money that's made from their likenesses and such and give it to them when they leave. Most will need it anyhow.

Exactly... Everyone else is making money off of the athletes' skills except for the athletes themselves... It makes no sense.

I agree with @L.A.Hog I thought it was stupid when AJ Green got in trouble for selling his own jersey so I gotta say I am cool with this. If someone is selling something made famous by me, I am gonna want a cut of it.

Is it right morally? Meh.

I think those are pretty different IMO. Selling your jersey from a bowl isn't deuchey.... this is

btw, did he even come up with the name?

I don't really have anything against Texas. A couple of my closest friends are from there. It's just fun to make fun of Texas. Especially to those friends.
