I know it's the ACC, but it's hard to call the #1 total defense unsuccessful.

I got him confused with Mike, the one that was the head coach at Arizona. I stand by the point it would be a huge risk and mistake to hire another defensive coordinator not named Kirby Smart.

That's a very understandable mistake; there are a lot of Stoops out there...

I agree that it'd be a big risk to hire him, just had to point out that he hasn't been unsuccessful so far.
