Not so fast my friend... You must truly know how AWFUL we are.
I hope Mizzou does well... Truly. If there were any team I want to succeed in the SEC besides State it would be Missouri. That said, you cant judge your talent based on ours... Two different planets.
I think what he's getting at is that talent hasn't really mattered much with us being on the road, no talent has still out-talented us, *cough* LSU *cough*

We have been finding ways to lose every game on the road. I know that y'all aren't very good but it is the fact that we not only one but one big. Also factoring into that statement was us beating Ole Miss by 20 something last game.
6-8 weeks. Looks like we should be looking forward to next season. It'll be a miracle if we somehow make the tourney.
You mean 6-8 months, right? They've come a long way with ACL and MCL repairs over the last few years; but I think it'd be some kind of record if an athlete came back in a month and half or 2 months.
In any event, because that surgery has become so routine, he stands a much better chance of fully recovering than he would have even 5 or 10 years ago... so at least there's some optimism going forward, and I know everyone's pulling for him.
Ole Miss effectively eliminated themselves from the title race yesterday.

People were racing against Florida this year? Who knew? It's been a race for second from the get go pretty much
Mizzou and now Kentucky missing main components to their teams for various games of the season ended up making this a much less competitive year than expected. I believe OM has some injuries as well.

Unfortunately we haven't been immune to the injury bug either; Boynton, Young, and Frazier are the only 3 players who've played in every game for UF, and Frazier isn't even a starter.
And now 6th man, and #2 UF rebounder, Will Yeguete is out probably until the post-season. Fortunately Prather, who was injured and missed 8 games with an injury earlier in the season, is now healthy and stepping up like you hope your backups will in these situations.
Yeguete was averaging 6 points and 6.3 rebounds a game, and had 24 steals and 7 blocks. Since Prather's been back, in the last 2 games, he's averaged 12 points and 4 rebounds a game, and has 3 blocks and a steal... so he's filling in nicely so far.
Here's 6'6" Prather taking advantage of his extra PT over UK 7-footer Cauley-Stein...
