I had no delusions about this season. It's next year I expect results. We signed two players in this class, just two, and that was good enough for the 14th ranked class. We're bringing in two of the best bigs in the country. That's what is missing.

I'll start getting upset with Anderson if next year is a dud. But keep telling yourselves up there you're happier with the known cheater, bounced in the first round hack
In the light of day, (and sobriety) I think it's too early to jump off the Anderson parade float. Jacob is right; our expectations for this year weren't in the clouds anyway. We are missing too much inside..

Hunter Mickelson. Yeah, he's 6'10", but he's not a post player. He's a 3 or 4 at best. He doesn't a strong inside game at all.

You didn't expect to win on the road at all? Carolina SUCKS! A&M we should have beat and we should have won last night. I don't expect to be able to win @ Florida or @ Mizzou, but the bottom teams...

we go to Vandy, Auburn and LSU... all of which are 2-5 in conference and I am not positive we can win one of those games. I am not saying I was expecting to be nationally ranked or anything, but I was expecting to have a .500 record on the road with our schedule.

Yeah, I expected to go .500 or better in conference. But I also know we have deficiencies on the roster. We have no inside presence, and no consistency at the free-throw line. The coaching staff will have next season to put together a tourney-worthy team in my mind. If we go 0-fer next year, I'll be off the bandwagon and setting it afire as I jump...

When we actually run offense Mickelson looks great. But the fact he is biggest player on our team and refuses to box out keeps him out of the game.

As for last night and the season on a whole...

Its not Anderson. Some of our players arent holding up their end of the bargain. Wade shot over 40% from 3 last year, he is shooting 25% this season. I see him and Ricky on Dickson St entirely too much for D1 basketball players. BJ Young cant even hit the rim from 3 which is embarrassing considering he shot 40% too last year.

Bama made him look damn good in the second half.

Isn't BJ Young a 5* all american?

He's got a good inside game, but he's a streaky three shooter and he doesn't have a good feel for passing. If you are triple-teamed, somebody's probably Original Image: http://www.sectalk.c.../lanekiffin.gifing open.

Exactly. A four playing the five doesn't work.

That was an illegal investiagtion done by a KU grad. What do you think it would say?

We were lucky to get to the first round at all since MA left us with 7 players on the roster and 0 bigs... and I'm as happy as I can be with a 50ish-10 record based off what he's had to work with.

Not to mention the NCAA officials found that previous officials had taken money from Miami boosters

We haven't won in Nashville since I think the Rutherford B. Hayes administration.

...Or maybe since CM Newton was Bama's coach:) Good Luck today ...Vandy has been playing well at home....but our inside game is awful , our coach can't recruit and can't sub at the right time.

Vandy is 40-18 vs Bama in Nashville...winning the last 11 in a row. Vandy leads series 66-65 overall
