I don't have anything against Missouri, but I do think it's kind of funny that they are tanking in this awful SEC.
Remember when they were certain they would compete for the conference title?

Now they have sole posession of 5th place and are only 4 games behind first.

There goes the notion that Mizzou is still a better team than Ole Miss
So far, I'd have to say that Ole Miss is the better team, but there's still al lot of basketball to be played so it's not clear cut either way IMO.  Your game at Missouri in a little over a week will help in that determination.  I know Ole Miss won pretty easily at home against Missouri, but since you also have to go there, I'd have to wait and see what happens when you play them on the road.

Yeah, I'm not sure about that game now.
Missouri has gained a player and Ole Miss has lost one.

I don't think Tennessee is better than us. We beat them in a close game at home, they beat us in a close game at home. But we have a better overall resume, RPI, everything else.

Cannot stress enough how important tonight's game is. Alabama absolutely needs to win in order to have any kind of hope for the postseason. Powell is a terrible matchup for our big men. I don't have a great feeling, but we'll see. We seem to shoot from the outside a lot better on Coleman than on the road.

Not really. If anyone would have thought this game would turn out any different than it did is kidding themselves. I said we would lose by 40 and we basically did.

This picture pretty much describes the UF-USC game from the Gamecock perspective.

To add to a previous point I was making, @UK4Life, the ref I was complaining about (Jim Burr) has a long history of bullshiteery.

Pretty damned easy to get 12 blocks when you're given 15 fouls.

For the Rebels to have a chance, Henderson will have to be hot enough to melt Hades; burn the devil too; fry his tail and put his ashes back together with glue. It's Jimmer meets Eminem in Oxford these days.

We fouled on 4 3 point shots 2 were not fouls at all one was a basket and a 4 point play when we were within 3 with like 3 mins to go... then we were within 2 and we left a guy wide open after double covering their best free throw shooter and fouled him as he was going for the shot he made and it became a 5 point game... we pulled back again and didn't capitalize.

Welcome to the SEC

I honestly thought our team would form a better chemistry, but that's something that talent can't teach. Haith said last night this team this isn't a great listening team, everyone wants to do something different with the ball on offensive possessions... I tend to agree with that.  Still for our first year playing brand new teams I'm okay with being 4th best, of course I would like better and hope they improve, still lots of ball to be played.

I stick by my preseason picks as what it should look like on paper, but as of right now.

1. Florida
2. Kentucky
3. Ole Miss
4. Missouri
