I'll be interested to see how the being high and driving will be enforced. Some people can be baked driving and the cop would never know. They are going to have to come up with a whole new system, because the blood levels of THC don't exactly determine if you are high or not.

Going to be abused my suspicion and probably just like a breathalyzer you'll be asked to piss, and you can decline.

At the station. That's my best guess.

I bet the alcohol lobby is freaking out.  Sales forecasts just took a nose dive in Colo and Wash.  Domestic Violence and Anger Management Counselors are looking at other career choices (good for Tech schools).  Meanwhile, Dunkin' Donuts will be hiring as they replace Starbucks as the predominant corner retail store.  Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, and Nutra-System will double or triple their franchises.  Speed limit signs will replace the word "limit" with the word "minimum."

Seriously, the feds won't touch this new law 'cause they want a numb electorate.  The alcohol lobby is the only reason it's been kept illegal all this time anyway.  Personally, I applaud more freedom.  Far too many good people have had their lives destroyed by this stupid prohibition.  If you aren't hurting anyone else and you can pay your own way, then you should be able to do whatever you like, up to and including eating yourself to death from the munchies.

I've got a buddy who has a scooter for motorin' around campus (UTK), took it home last Christmas break. One night he got stoned, got on the scooter, got a dewey. Pretty embarrassing really. But, what can you do?

I'm naturally lazy. Pot enhances my inherent talent for laziness.

That sounds pretty darn good to me.  Do people take the military forgranted?

the military serves a purpose and should never under any circumstance be underfunded. however, my definition of a defense budget has nothing to do with pakistans defense, israels defense, iraqs, defense, egypts defense, i think you see the theme here. when broke you cancel your hbo and showtime, take call waiting off your phone.... america is still ordering ppv movies and pizza.

Because humans have so much self control over themselves.  Do you think drinking and driving should be legal?

yes and the CO attorney general has urged the DOJ to quickly decide how, and if, they plan on doing anything about it. so far the DOJ has been silent.

the end of the prohibition of alcohol started with the states. CO and WA made unprecedented moves on Tuesday. in the next 4 years you could see CA and OR follow suit. 18 states have legalized medicinal use and that number will continue to grow as practicality and fiscal pressures mount in poor states. i predict you will be able to find medicinal MJ in the south in the next 5 years.

yes, its illegal on the federal level. that begs the question: who gives a shit?
