Most people would destroy Texas.

Anyway, yall should have kept the annual rivalry as official non conference. I would guess Texas weasled out of that one

Texas athletic director DeLoss Dodds emailed Texas A&M athletic director Bill Byrne late last week to tell him the Longhorns couldn’t fit A&M into their schedule through 2018.

I would have told Texas right then and there to put me down for a home and home then and there. Maybe you can play them like a home and home every four years.

I actually think this game is VERY likely at this point.

It is EXACTLY what the cotton Bowl wants & so does every football fan in TX

The networks (ESPN) will push for this, just like a Bama vs Notre Dame championship game will be pushed.

It IS all about the almighty dollar...
They don't think it be like it is, but it do!

The almighty dollar is why this rivalry will return in the future.

This idea is starting to get some traction. Remember you heard it here first...

"But the highlight of all this: that Cotton Bowl, which would force Texas and Texas A&M to play nice after splitting up their Thanksgiving rivalry. And to do it in Dallas, too. Even if the Sooners don't get that BCS spot, if everything holds, the Cotton would have to hate money to pass this one up. Bowls like money."

I don't even think we would have to beat MSU. That matchup would bring in so many dollars for the cotton it would be hard for them to pass it up.  I bet that would irritate the crap out of old deloss.
This.  It's too big a potential ratings draw to pass up.
