It's kind of sad Bourn had to settle for $12 a year, but that's honestly more in line with what he's worth than what Boras told him he was worth. I'm just glad someone signed him so we get an end of the first round pick now.

I kept failing a math test at the University of Alabama because every time I added 5+3 I got 8 and they kept insisting that the right answer was 14.

In comparison, the Indians also signed Nick Swisher to a 4 year contract making $2 million more per season than Bourn... Is a .275 hitter who hasn't hit 30 HR's since 2006 really worth more than the top defensive outfielder in baseball? That's rough.
