And how many of those embassies made repeated requests for more security and we're denied?

How many were under sustained attack for multiple hours while making requests for assistance only to be ignored?

The world is a dangerous place and people getting killed happens but abandoning people to die whether through willful inaction or incompetence is completely unacceptable.

You can blather on about conspiracy theories all you want but in the end, the facts are DC was monitoring the situation in real time, secdef has said there were assets available and they chose not to deploy them and potus has declared he ordered they be helped.
Based on the latter two, either somebody isn't telling the truth or this administration is completely dysfunctional because when potus gives a military order you don't sit around and say we'll I'd rather not.

There's also the secondary issue that the administration spent over a week repeating the bs that it was a protest over that film gone sideways when they knew based on the real time monitoring that wasn't the case.

An out of hand protest results in a stormed embassy or somebody being shot, not coordinated mortar fire and organized ground assault.

Shoot first, ask questions later. That worked out great with our last cowboy in chief.

Finding out where things went off the rails is not a difficult question to answer.

Based on public statements we know high level administration officials were monitoring the situation in real time. The only question to answer is who decided to do nothing and why.

dont be a Posted Imageing idiot. This isnt about the attack. This is about 4 weeks of the president of the United States of America lying to the American people. And his inability to act on the information on hand. Save me your pretentious bullshit attitude about political party. You aren't smarter than everyone else. Your president is a bold faced liar and if you had an ounce being a man in your body you would call him on it.

I think it's stupid to act like you know what the situation is. Clearly there was some reason we didn't go it. I want to know what that is instead of assuming.

its an election year and would have looked bad, plus people were supposed to believe to cover story without question. Only the easy to dismiss tinfoil hat crowd were supposed to question anything.

2002 attack you site, zero US citizens killed. it was a truck bomb. security was not an issue.
in fact looking up each line of you list it looks like it wasnt til 2012 that US citizens were killed due to a lack of security. Did you read up on this list before posting it?
