Haven't you heard though? He's on a fixed income.

It apparently stems from an incident where he hid in the closet, shirtless, while Bear Bryant was taking a shite, and then he snuck out of his closet and yelled WDE to Bryant, who then asked him for some toilet paper, to which Jack refused, to which Jack received his injury for which he is on a fixed income.
