besides the 360 hardware even had a fail rate that was more than 1000 times that of sony and wii when it was released, they have tempered that number somewhat since then but I remember defective 360s being somewhere in the 30% ish range whereas defective ps3 being somewhere in the 0.02% range. These numbers are fairly accurate only I have never met any xbox owner that hasnt had one that quit on them.

again though, I was talking about software not hardware, but Microsoft loses there too just to a lesser degree.

No. You were talking about it in general. I get that. But Software sales gaming systems. All the other stuff is great and everything, but in the end games sale game systems. So the games on Xbox are on par with anything Sony puts out. Forza has become just as popular as Grand Turismo and name any franchise on any system that compares in sales to the Halo series.

I agree with that. I think you meant software sells systems, which is true and I agree that games like Halo are the reason xbox is popular, however when you look at Microsoft games for PC and other software there are an ungodly amount of issues.

Oh ok. Yeah I don't get into PC gaming very much. Don't carry much of it in the stores either except for the big sellers.
