How do some of you call yourselves patriots on one hand and condemn half the country to the trash can on the other?

Because half the country is condemning 100% of us to the trash can.

people need to forget about whether or not somebody has an R or a D next to their name.  we should be trying to return ourselves to a level of prominence and getting back to a fiscally responsible nation.  its pretty clear that obama isnt going to get us there and we need somebody that has a record of fiscal responsibility.  as governor, romney vetoed 800 spending items.....some of which ended up as legislative policy.  whether he was successful or not, i want a person that realizes spending is out of control and someone that will force us as a nation to live within our means.  we are acting like a teenager with their first credit card and spending out of our minds, but one day, the bills are gonna come in and we arent going to have the resources to pay them.  its fundamentally irresponsible and its gone on far too long for both sides D or R, and obama has proven that he will not make those hard decisions.  he had his chance and failed.....its time for some new ideas cause the old ones aint cutting it and spending is continuing to spiral out of control.

I'm also adding about 99 points to their IQ.

The deficit, truthfully, means nothing to the public. The person who can best portray how lowering the deficit will help the public will win this race hands down.

Seriously. The deficit goes up, unless someone can point out how it directly affects my day to day life, I don't give a shit. And neither does anyone else.

Point is, the deficit has doubled under Obama. Romney will take the election HANDS down if he can explain in lamen terms why this is bad for every day Americans instead of using the argument "The deficit has doubled, and that's bad, so I'm gonna balance the budget"

It's really that simple. He can't expect people to  understand exactly how it effects them personally, unless he explains it to them.

He'd win a shit ton of votes if he did this.

Obama on the other hand has no leg to stand on. We keep hearing what he's going to do to fix it. The fukker has been in office for 4 years. What is he doing to fix it?

Not a goddamn thing, because it keeps going up every single day.
When it's 3rd and 10, we shuffle out our secret weapon... he's the only person we ever want calling the next play... some call him the twelfth man.... we call him the whiskey drinker...

Ron Paul isn't a candidate.

If you believe that then you're just a naive spoon-eater of media bullshit. The country is in worse shape than it has ever been in it's history. Only a damn fool would think that it was going to be an easy victory for the incumbent. Not even his own support base is happy with him. Romney is going to win, and the media will act like it was a come-from-behind victory when in reality, whoever was the nominee was going to beat Obama. It doesn't take that much to beat the worst President in the history of the United States.

Yeah, but you thought UGA would stomp everyone this year. Your powers of prediction are pretty crappy

Well if your allegiances in college football are relevant to the discussion, then Obama is going to get crushed because you definitely have a habit of picking losers, don't you?

A bullshit fairy tale snake oil pitch.

12 million jobs? Really? 250,000 jobs a month for four straight years?

5 trillion in tax cuts and 2 trillion in defense paid for by closing loopholes? Suuuure

Actually, it's pretty simple...when you get rid of all the roadblocks Obama has put in front of small business...open the Gulf back up to drilling...get the Keystone Pipeline underway...heck, there's thousands of jobs right there...more people working...the government gets more tax revenue...people feel better about the economy...spend more money...etc.  Talk to any economist...a Romney win equals an instant increase in the economy.

Btw...you're mistaken re: the $2 trillion in defense...Obama wants to cut defense by $2 trillion...all Romney wants to do is stop the cuts.
