No he hasn't enrolled anywhere. Independently studying to better his ACT score and plans to enroll at Ole Miss in December..

Well not all highschool QB's are 6'3" 290lbs with crazy good athleticism so i'm not very sure on that one... I'd venture to say he'll start out as a TE since we lose our only 2 TE's after this season.

Our OT's have been somewhat decent considering this is their first taste of SEC football and their 1st year in this up tempo no huddle offense..  We have arguably the two best Olineman in the state of MS coming in this class, helps on the way.
Meh, going to have to disagree on the performance, but agree about the situation they are in.
McCray has appeared worse than Sowell was, imo, and Burton just can't seem to keep up. Burton, in particular, seemed to regress this past weekend. Rest of the o-line has been serviceable though, with Aaron Morris doing well.

The guy seems like he could be another Chris Strong if you know what I mean.  But he has all the ability in the world to be an outstanding lineman.  Hopefully he accepts this, realizes this is his best shot at a pro career, and works his ass off to get there.

I suspect that he'll drop about 30 pounds once  Paul Jackson gets a hold of him.
That would have him at around 6'4 260 again, as he was in high school.

Now if that is indeed the way things turn out, I don't think we would be a good DT. Maybe DE, but Johnson and Whigham/Ward seem to have the DE's on lockdown, and all return for next year.

I really don't know why Freeze doesn't stick Terrell Brown in at DT. If you had him at one DT and Gross at the other, Gross would feast on opposing QB's. It'd take 2 linemen each time to block that giant of a man (6'10 377), and would free up Gross.

I still think he'd make a decent o-lineman.

this is all on liggins...i'm not going to lie and say he isnt athletic cause he is and could wreak havoc as a DL...however, it is up to him whether he wants to be a dominant DL cause he has to realize he wont be the center of attention anymore at the position, take the coaching, and quit being lazy...and before people bounce on me for calling him lazy, etc, if you are serious about playing QB, especially at the D1 level, playing at 290 is lazy...BUT i think he has the opportunity to be a good D lineman...

If it's worth mentioning...  John Youngblood was recruited as a DE but converted from DE to TE in the summer by necessity, he didn't even play TE in HS. He is redshirting and will likely return to DE where he has real potential at once ample depth gets here which is likely after this class.

Dylan Dyer is just a random walk-on..

McCray doesn't have 3 false starts per game that alone makes him better than Brad Sowell.

Neither of which make your previous assertion any more true.

Don't forget that with Dyer, Freezus has recruited Evan Engram and Christian Morgan, bringing the tally up to 3 for next year, with 4 possible if Youngblood stays at TE.

He'll likely get first crack at TE but I could see him becoming a DE eventually.  We aren't that stocked at DE... lol

Terrell Brown has been injured all year.  Hamstring I believe.. If he were healthy we'd probably be seeing him on extra point block team and maybe in goaline situations.

Yup.. Christian Morgan will be here in December and go through spring ball which is pretty big deal for him...

Evan Engram is the same exact size as Donte Moncrief right now they look like the same person in helmet and pads, he needs about 15-20lbs on his frame BUT he could see the field as a freshman in formations where the TE is flexed pretty far out or at WR with his route running ability.

I'm just assuming Jeremy Liggins gets a look at TE first because it makes the most sense with the lack of depth obviously.

We have been targeting JuCo TE and have struck out on our top target Beau Sandland. Apparently former UThug TE Cameron Clear is now in the fold.

As athletic and quick Liggins is for his size, he either needs to play OT or DE.  The dude is a freak athlete.

He's probably eating. Liggins might be 320 right now.  Any player that has no discipline to stop eating has problems getting to workouts, studying, film study.....etc. I've seen it to many times, wasted potential. Hopefully he gets his life together and doesn't  blow his chance.

And worth noting, in the last two years, Paul Jackson has made his most significant changes to front 7 defensive players.  He turns them into beasts

He says he's 289lbs and working out with a personal trainer to stay in shape until he enrolls in December.   in his interview released 5 days ago.  You're right though it's all about work ethic IF he has it he'll be a damn good player whatever position he plays.
