Saw this on drudge and it sorta would explain alot:

Now Obama has been president for nearly four years.  Aided by a huge Democratic majority from 2009 to 2011, he achieved some big things — massive stimulus, Obamacare, Dodd-Frank.  He even won the Nobel Peace Prize, essentially for showing up.  But he hasn’t achieved, and won’t achieve in four more years, the “fundamental transformation” of American society that he envisioned.  And his entire career suggests that by now he should be angling for a bigger, better job. The problem is, there isn’t such a position — and a second term in the same old job doesn’t count. The chief benefit of winning re-election to a second term might simply be to avoid being labeled a loser, to avoid joining Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush as presidents who couldn’t win a second time.

It was a long bit on how Obama gets easily bored and frustrated at the limitations of any position he has held.

With what he inherited at the git go,it's hard to believe he,or anybody, would have wanted the job.

He not only "wanted the job"...he campaigned for it...he practically begged for it...and he knew what he was getting into...when campaigning in '08 he stated several times, "this is the worst economy since the Great Depression.."

My problem with him...he had complete control for 2 years and did nothing...instead of devoting his energy to helping the economy, he passed health care laws that no one wanted.  Obama has taken a bad situation and made it much worse...and is begging for the job once again...only, who will he blame this time...himself?

Rest assured him and the people who reelected him (and he will win, sadly) will be blaming President Bush for four more years.

Unfortunately, whether by legal means or illegal means, I agree that chances are, Barry will get a second term.

After the thrashing we took this Saturday, I'm glad to get back to politics!
