We have a young team and a young coach nothing we did not know coming into the season.  I was not a fan of the Freeze hire and have been watching him with a sceptical eye.  Has he made mistakes yes, but he has done a lot more right.  Our team is playing harder than they have in years.  I see the competitive spirit in the team and I am encouraged.  Is this going to be a great year on the win loss board?  No, it wasn't supposed to be, we just got our hopes up with some wins early; but we haven't quit on a single play or game and compared to recent history that is a great improvement.  We also have some games coming up that we can be very competitive in.

I am proud of our teams and coaches effort.  I beleive we are headed down the right path.  Freeze will continue to make mistakes but he is learning more each week as to what it takes to coach in the best conference in the nation.

OM is much better than last year already. Depth might wear ya thin by season's end but the Rebs have a shot to make a run at a bowl game (granted, it'd be like the Birmingham Bowl or the Independence Bowl, but still)... which is something I didn't see as a possibility back in the summer.

While you don't understand why I am not a fan of Manziel, I don't understand why man-crushes on him are spreading like wildfire. He has one good game vs Arkansas, and all of a sudden he's the 3rd coming of Tebow. (Apparently Geno Smith is the 2nd coming)
The man has good wheels, I grant him that. But if any pressure is applied to him, as Ole Miss showed this weekend, he makes awful throws for obvious picks. His passing performance against Ole Miss was subpar, and the OM d receives credit for that. Why Wommack didn't have Nkemdiche or Bryant playing Spy on Manziel is beyond me. He would not have rushed for over 100 yds had that been done.

This past game proved exactly what I have been saying all along; Manziel is an average Frosh QB with abover average wheels. Nothing more, nothing less.
