First things first - my seats tonight, Original Image: <a href='http://www.sectalk.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/lanekiffin.gif' class='bbc_url' title=''>http://www.sectalk.c.../lanekiffin.gif</a>ING AWESOME.

Big thanks to the person who has hooked me up with these for the entire season.

On to the game - I said to fellow dawgs before this one that it would be nice to see Georgia come out and look like a top 5 team from the opening kickoff and do it for four quarters. We did that tonight. Georgia came out with a "boot-on-the-throat" mentality for 60 minutes. We beat the dog-shit out of Vandy. The offensive line pushed the Vandy defense around like toys, and Todd Gurley, TODD Original Image: <a href='http://www.sectalk.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/lanekiffin.gif' class='bbc_url' title=''>http://www.sectalk.c.../lanekiffin.gif</a>ING GURLEY looked like a man possessed. He looked straight up like Herschel Walker reborn the way he was shoving off would-be tacklers and busting his way down the field. Just the most impressive performance from him yet.

Seriously, what more can you say about the offense than point to the numbers? 48 points, nearly 600 yards of total offense, 260+ on the ground and Murray was just SO stellar. The receiving corps is just full of ballers, I mean this unit is CLICKING. Have yet to score less than 40 points this year in a game.

Defensively, there was no repeat of the FAU or Buffalo games, giving up big plays early. The defense was lights out. A couple of times in the second half when Vandy managed to get a couple of big plays to get into the red zone, the defense "anchored down" (hah) and gave them no more.

It's only Vanderbilt, but Georgia finally played a complete football game for four quarters, and it was Original Image: <a href='http://www.sectalk.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/lanekiffin.gif' class='bbc_url' title=''>http://www.sectalk.c.../lanekiffin.gif</a>ing impressive. Keep in mind, UGA played the 2nd and 3rd string offense for the entire 4th quarter (the 1st string did not play one down in the 4th), and only threw it four times in the last 25 minutes.of play.

Just a great, great night to be a Dawg and it was a hell of a great day to be in Athens.

The only glaring weakness I saw was Malcolm Mitchell.  He started getting picked on late in the second and into the third.  That should change next week with Rambo (I was getting nervous as Original Image: <a href='http://www.sectalk.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/lanekiffin.gif' class='bbc_url' title=''>http://www.sectalk.c.../lanekiffin.gif</a> with those guys trying to lean over the balcony to fix their 'Free Rambo' sign) coming back and allowing Commings to slide back over to corner.  MM also had the botched punt that forced us to start from our 3 yard line.

Other than that, I thought we played extremely well.  Perhaps not top 5, but certainly top 10.

Stop trying to be such a Munson, dammit. There were only two other teams in the country that had as dominating a performance yesterday - Bama and Oregon. It's getting awfully difficult to still be that "I'm not sure we're a top 5 team" guy.... come awn now.

Todd Gurley is a hoss... I don't mind having an Alabama style running-back... he's actually pretty fast too though.

After watching Gurley/Marshall play this season, I can safely say losing that diva Original Image: <a href='http://www.sectalk.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/lanekiffin.gif' class='bbc_url' title=''>http://www.sectalk.c.../lanekiffin.gif</a> Crowell was a definite blessing.

Good grief. He just throws defenders out of the way with one arm.

Yesterday was a very impressive win. Todd Gurley & Keith Marshall are one hell of a duo. Marlon Brown also is turning into a big time recover for us. Excited to see how the defense does with Ogletree & Rambo back.

The competition continues to get better every week.  We need to build off this performance with another solid effort against Tennessee this week........

S&C for championship football at UGA has returned to the proven Kasay way.

@HobnailedBoots killer seats bro. Nice picture too since im guess your were probably heavily intoxicated.

Gurley is a monster and i couldnt be more thrilled about that kid. Marshall too, he has really started running harder.  He got tripped up a few times running threw the first level but once he hits the second level hes out.

All in all Georgia made a statement. Didnt see on prediction putting Georgia over 40 points except mine; and we damn near put up 50. Ready for a repeat performance this weekend.

2012: #5 Georgia Bulldogs Overall (12-2) SEC (7-1)
