LSU is the only team that will beat Bama. I just hope it's in the championship this year instead of the regular season.

A$$HOLES!

Nearly everyone outside of Baton Rouge has already forgotten LSU was undefeated last year, beat Alabama, and won the SEC Championship.

If Bama beats LSU in the regular season, I hope there's a rematch, so you'll know how it feels to have an irrelevant undefeated season

Because Miles has proven he's a master game planner! Especially if he has a month to prepare.

Why are Bama fans convinced this team is SO much better than 2011 or 2009? I mean clearly they are the best team in the country but beating an Arkansas team that lost to UL monroe isn't that big of a task is it? Didn't Alabama shut them out in 2009 as well?

I don't know if anyone does... defensively there hasn't been a better team than 11 Bama since 1980 something Miami of course this team isn't that good yet. Offensively even with a new Ocoord this is the best Bama team out of those maybe ever. Stable of running backs, quality receivers, best OL in the country, and a QB that'll be at the top of the Heisman if Bama keeps winning.

What fans of other teams do is compare your starters to ours and yes there are alot of good players out there many better but Bama has 22-33-40 something deep better. Thats why this team is good theres really no dropoff in the 2-3 deep.

I think Georgia would win if the OL played a good game.

Oregon could beat Alabama.

I'll agree with a lot of that, but McCarron isn't going to even sniff Heisman consideration. He doesn't put up the stats that the voters want to see.

I agree about the numbers but he isn't on a team to be able to. If and thats a big IF he leads Bama to back to back NT how do you keep him out? Who has been a better leader or done more for their team? Hell for that matter been that successful?

Basically, they think that because the offense appears to have more potential than it did in the other two years. Add that to a Saban defense and that's the result you get.

That said, I don't think that many actual Bama fans really think that. A lot of the media are trying to whip up things, like proclaiming that we have the best OL in football, when the on field performance simply does not support the claim (see # of sacks by Western KY).

Right now, we are not playing like the best team in the nation. However, we have played well enough that it appears that we at least have the potential to be the best team in the nation. We could easily lose several games though--LSU, obviously, but based on what I've seen, both MSU and Missouri could give us fits if we don't correct some things.

Who said we were better ? It was just a question. Some of you guys are just plain, damn paranoid.

I have no idea what Danielson was smoking when he made the statement about AJ and Mettenberger being Heisman picks. Its just the third game for crissakes.

Bama has scored 70 pts in 3 games on offensive drives started by opp. turnovers. Bama had 76 pts all last season off opp. turnovers. Bama does not play down to its' competition .McCarron is the best quarterback in the league. Before the onslaught of Murray ites from the uga base, remember that Murray has never defeated a ranked team and the stats from this year and last are not that much different.

The toughest team Alabama plays in 2012 occuried during the A Day game.

Alabama can be beaten by any team on any day if they follow the hype and neglect to prepare and keep their heads on straight. While it is fun to watch each game with the expectation that the Tide will win (as opposed to the Shula days when we hoped we could just slide by) and win big, the season is still young. A few more injuries like Fowler's could greatly upset the anticipated and hoped for outcome on 7 January.

I believe that Saban's rant before the Western Ky game was sincere about respecting that team. However, I also firmly believe it was directed at his own players so that they don't get complacent and think that all they have to do is show up, as they apparently thought prior to the Utah game in the Sugar Bowl at the end of the 2008 season.

Skill will get you a long way; cockiness can bring you down.

this team prolly has more overall talent from top to bottom than any other team in Sabans history with Alabama.......but they're all babies and the good part is we are now in an easy part of our schedule, meaning just that many more reps to get these kids playing as sharp as they can.............to think that they're a little rough right now is scary but my god, the talent dumbfounds me.

McCarron is definitely the best QB in the league and Danielson being an ex QB sees it but jacob is right, he'll never have the stats to be included in a heisman conversation

our offense is gonna blow the Original Image: http://www.sectalk.c.../lanekiffin.gif up come mid season and will be a treat to watch.
