Not a troll post or anything, I'm dead serious. I've watched about as much college football as possible this year, and while Bama doesn't have that "one guy" like a Julio or Trent or Mark, they are just stacked to the hilt with Original Image: http://www.sectalk.c.../lanekiffin.gifing players everywhere....I'm really not sure I've seen anything like it since I've been watching college football...can this team be beat this year? Maybe it doesn't stack up on an "all time" list or anything, but looking at the crop this year, does anyone think there is a team that can actually stand toe to toe with them? LSU is all I can think of...2 greatest programs in the nation FTMFW!!

Bama is the team to beat for sure but so far you've only seen them beat up on a suspect Michigan team, a joke, and a demoralized arky squad starting a freshman.

Having said that, sitting here right now, I can't see them losing to anyone. But that's why we play the games.

Granted, had Wilson played we wouldn't have seen a 52-0 mud stomping...I will concede that. I still think we could have won with the score being more like 35-24 or something. I'm just saying, with this year's crop of college football I just don't know...the media wanted it to be USC but we saw how that turned out. Still very early, but every single player on that team is playing as if it's their last damn game ever. You can tell they are hungry and trying to prove something. I am just astounded at the depth and talent of this team. And so many young players too. Would not shock me in the least to see LSU/Bama part deux in the championship game. These 2 programs seem to be on top of the football world and by a mile(s)...see what I did there?

An injury on the o-line would sideline the title talk.

All teams can be beaten if they slip just a little....while Bama hasn't done that yet, doesn't mean it can't or won't. Shoot, something as seemingly insignificant as playing in a heavy rain and getting a sudden case of the turnovers against a halfway decent team that's playing on a mission and they can take advantage. It is early...injuries could flare up like a rash on Hob's junk and you'll be sorry you ever jinxed your team.

So far though, very impressive....machine-like.

Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and will be fined for if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts itself from it, signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and financed by a country that's broke.

What could possibly go wrong?

I'm shocked a certain someone hasn't gotten all hot and bothered by this thread.

Yes we can be beaten. LSU has the stable of backs to wear our DL down. The other side of the field opposite of Dee looks a bit shaky at times. Our stupid penalties (some deserved some not) may give better teams momentum to score. We've still never played down (although it may never happen) so we don't know how this team reacts to close games.

Are you suggesting that Bama is running a sCam of some sort?

MAYBE the Pittsburgh Steelers. But if we're being "realistic," even that's a long shot.
