Lol, who would win? Chris Todd and the Ben Tate/Brad Lester combo would light up our current squad even with Tony Franklin as our OC. '12 Auburn's offense wouldn't make it across midfield against '08 Auburn's defense, much less get in field goal range.

At this point the season, 08 with ZERO doubt. Neither had D but the O was MUCH MUCH better that year. Despite Todd's dead arm he really understood that offense and commanded it. Ben Tate would never be tackled by this bunch.

The 2008 D was pretty damn good... Better than any D Chizik has put on the field at least

Dude come on, I don't have the figures in front of me now but his defenses at ISU were like 111th in Total D, 116th in Pass D, and 105th in Rush D. He brought that shit down to Auburn, too. Man I'm just saying what we've all been thinking for years. Was his success due to our incredibly explosive offense in 2010?

And yes, it was. 0-21 without the best player to ever play the game. Zero wins, twenty-one losses.

Do you guys know how far a new coach will set us back? look at tennessee. We would suck as bad as Mississippi State on the regular for another 2 years if we got rid of him :trollface:

its really going to get much better next year and after that we should be ballin.
