In all honestly what do we want him to do? He sure as hell isnt going carpet bomb them or nuke them. He might send a carrier group to the Gulf as an empty show of force but he isnt going to escalate the situation. Closing the embassys isnt a real option at this point in an election year as it would reflect negatively on his administration. And he will not allow Israel to do anything. A war right now spikes oil prices and that isnt goint happen in an election year.

What do you think he can do other than step up the talk.
