Dismukes arrested Friday night
AUBURN, Ala. — Starting center Reese Dismukes was arrested Friday night for public intoxication and released on $300 bond, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s online index.
Dismukes was named to the all-SEC Freshman squad last year and to the Rimington Trophy watch list (nation’s best center) this preseason. Auburn has yet to release a statement regarding Dismukes’ status.
Head coach Gene Chizik recently commended Dismukes’ command of the offensive line, saying “he dropped weight (from 302 pounds), and he’s moving much quicker. He’s a tough guy that shows up to practice and goes to work every day. He’s the guy that’s going to have to anchor that line and he’s been very consistent.”
Sophomore Tunde Fariyike was listed on the post-spring depth chart as Dismukes’ backup.

If it truly was just a P.I. the cop should be fired for arresting a player. I mean come on man, you've got to let some stuff slide.
May the bridges I burn light the way.

This is his 2nd off-season incident. He was already involved in that McDonald's affair a few weeks ago, IIRC.

There was some fracas a few weeks back where he got into a shouting match with some black people at a McDonald's and reportedly called them the "n" word. Cops were called but he wasn't arrested. Sounds like he's just an obnoxious redneck with a drinking problem, honestly.

What a DA. I would say that I was glad that he ended up at AU, but I think it's just that they have no leadership.

Nothing happened at Mcdonalds. Although you could make an argument that trouble seems to find this guy. ill be interested in seeing what happens with this. There needs to be some ass whipping done during practice for people that make the team look bad.

I say 2 quarter suspension, if you could figure a way for it not to be against Clemson or MSU then you'd earn your pay as a HC.

According to multiple witnesses, a few of them being black, the n-word was never uttered and our guys were not out of line.
Pretty good bet that the guy arrested was the one causing the trouble.
Im sure i know more about the Goings on at Auburn than any of you.
