Not ranked; just listed one for each SEC state.

What is this based on?  Obviously higher population = higher crime.  What about per capita?  I mean bar none, Louisville has the most crime in the state.  Especially East end.  North end of Lexington is rough too, but it's not like I'm scared to walk around most of that area at night.  Some parts of Georgetown Street and Russell Cave I won't fool around on after dark, as well as some of the numbered streets downtown, but that's about it.

Yup, Jackson is by far the most crime-ridden city in all of Mississippi.
Although Greenville definitely gives it a run for it's money, as does Mound Bayou ( <----Not nearly comparable in size, but anyway....).

Sucks to see Jackson go down hill like it did. My fathers side all graduated from Miss. State and I would go over there every summer as a kid. Could ride your bike just about anywhere in town.

Little Rock has a pretty shitty crime rate. Pine Bluff is probably worse, if you consider percentage of the population.

Seems to me at some point, years ago,Pine Bluff was ranked quite high nationally per capita. They used to produce some fine athletes also.

I got a phone call from someone in Pine Bluff at work the other day. Could barely understand a word they were saying.
