Arkansas staff trying Brandon Mitchell and Ronnie Wingo out at WR during practice on Sunday..

http://blogs.nwaonli...with-receivers/

Wingo running that wheel route last year was deadly, except for his two drops, and I think Mitchell is a great athlete. Should be interesting to see if either one can keep CH from getting triple coverage.

I like the move.  Mitchell is too good an athlete to sit on the sidelines all year; same for Wingo.  Wingo is great in open space and I don't think he would see many touches at RB this year.

Brandon Mitchell is a freakish type athlete.  I'd like to see the guy get on the field at WR.  Wingo may be the biggest underachiever we've ever had, maybe he'll find a home at WR.  One thing I will tell you is he isn't gonna sacrifice his body over the middle.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

As a former slot receiver, I can't say that I blame him for that!

He'll be as big as some SEC linebackers and all safeties.  He's not your typical 5'10 190 lb. slot receiver.

I think wingo can take a hit and could have good success in single coverage situations. But I'm calling it now I saw part of practice Sunday on the IM fields and Brandon Mitchell is going to have a real chance. He looks absolutely natural at WR and he plays the same way you'd imagine Gragg would if he hadn't moved to TE.

That supports some of the practice reports I've read, that Mitchell has taken to the WR spot naturally.  Can't hurt that he knows the playbook inside and out.  I think he could be a very good possession type WR for us.

He should be a productive player I can already see 6'0" 190 CBs failing to get in front of him because his size. He may be the best all-around athlete at the university.
