That requires different types of blocking as well as size and athleticism, which is why our entire OL bulked up to over 300 lbs. in the offseason. They had to be lighter, quicker, and a little more athletic in the spread.
It also requires a bigger, more durable TB, and we now have 4 ready to go. The primary questions for UF now are who will emerge at QB and WR? Because if those 2 positions are substandard, it makes running the ball extremely difficult.
We already know the OC can call plays; he put up 35 on y'all and beat you by 2 TD's, with a bunch of 2 and 3 star players... remember?
Unless you also signed Kellen Moore for a 6th year of eligibility, I don't see how you figure that means anything. But I see why you're optimistic; after all, former Boise coaches have done so well historically after leaving Boise.
You can spin it however you want, that's not the same offense. You're probably the only person that would try to make that leap.
