Uh oh well good luck maybe charter does the right thing.

As someone said above I've never changed boards on a tv but thats kinda what I do for a living with computers. I couldn't guess a price for the board but I think the install would be fairly simple if it comes to that.

I shouldn't have to pay a dime out for this. Lets see what charter says tomorrow.

By the way,  my comcast cable box  stopped working a week after i got it. They also had a hard time getting it to communicate with comcast and i never got On Demand.   I currently only have internet w netflix through my xbox and might only get it  for 6 months  during football season.

Stallings I have to ask you to tame down the vulgarity in your Topic line......Please remember that that some folks may let they're kids see this board from time to time. Not only that, we DO have Ladies posting on our boards, so I ask that you be respectful of that.

Tech came to install cable.

Hooked up cable box while movin it from one side to the other and the box fried. Made a bright white light and started smoking. In doing so, it fired all 4 of my hdmi ports!!!

Not sure what they're gonna do about it right now but I am livid.

I can't play Xbox until they fix this shit.

:lanekiffin: charter!!
CRAZY! The same thing happened to my Moms old neighbor in St Louis. She had a brand new Vizio LED Smart Tv and it burned out her HDMI ports. Im not sure how she got it resolved.
Charter Cable in STL sucks man... I hate Charter. First they were supposed to give me a DVR capable box for every TV in the house yet they refused to give us more than two. Then they had a bad box that didnt work and still havent come to hook another up and that happened a week ago.

Step 1: Buy a PS3; then, pay Netflix $7.99 a month for unlimited streaming.
Step 2: Buy NCAA Football '13 for said PS3, and then get your arse handed to you by FCN, once he gets around to buying it/they restock it.
Step 3: Bitch the hell out of the cable company.
Step 4: Demand the cable company replace your 4, now-fried HDMI cables.
I'll play you in NCAA Football '13 on the PS3 once you get it. Just send me a message with your PSN name and I'll add you.

FTR - I haven't had any problems with Charter cable. I don't like how much it costs, but these days they all charge too much.

good answer Mr Engaged...
"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

Btw I am still waiting to hear from the supervisor.

I went on a charter flame fest on twitter and one of their social media specialists contacted me. She's trying to work with me to get it resolved
