USC backup offensive lineman Kenny Davis has been arrested and charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Bond was set at $20,000. He has paid it already.

Davis is suspended from all team functions.

A police report says that a 21 year old female acquaintance of Davis is claiming that Davis sexually assaulted her on May 31. The charge is a felony and can carry a 10-year maximum prison sentence.

Seems kind of weird that he was arrested more than 3 weeks afterward, but if he is guilty boot him.

the article said the woman was coming from 5 points (bar area) and came to Kenny's apartment right after. To me, it's sounding an awful lot like she was a bit under the influence, hooked up with him, felt bad about it after she sobered up, and decided to report it as a forced thing. A lot of people who know Kenny or had class with him said he's a real good kid and have only ever heard good things from him.

I'm holding out judgement on this one

They may have been waiting some kind of test results or whatever to verify/refute her version of the events. And absolutely yes, if he is guilty hope he does get booted. No doubt Spurrier will do the right thing, it's pretty well known his stance on anything physical against a woman....zero tolerance.

Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and will be fined for if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts itself from it, signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and financed by a country that's broke.

What could possibly go wrong?

What exactly is she saying happened at his place? I haven't read the article cuz I'm still trying to wrap up work for the week....how is it we haven't heard a thing about it before today --- usually there are rumors and stuff if there was an investigation going on with an arrest or charges pending but this happened May 31 and we're just hearing about it today? odd.....but not good either way.
