Something about NOLA and Kentucky Wildcats this year!  Now if they'd just change their team colors.  ;)

He's going to look so much better in that Hornet jersey.  I'm pumped about this.

We were the worst team in history and don't get the first pick

You guys can't complain though. I mean, you are getting Harrison Barnes.

For real?  Charlotte Hornets were my team as a kid.....King Rex was their first draft pick.  I've been needing a reason to root for them again.  If they could get rid of the yellow as well as the Mardi Gras unis I'd be sold. Bring back Zo, Mugsy and Grandmama

They get picks #1 and #10....that's a good start.  Lottery again next year too.  Might be on their way!

Do not want, ever. I live in Tarheel country and hate UNC basketball more than anything else in the world. I'll take Kidd-Gilchrist

A ton of folks are claiming this today considering the Hornets are owned by the NBA

I actually saw it on a carolina panthers message board earlier today where they were talking about the Bobcats and the draft, and most people there were saying they would be surprised if it wasn't new orleans. And as soon as the Hornets got the break of getting the #10 pick, I knew they would get the #1 pick. Seems too predictable for me

This isn't te first time the NbA has ever been accused of it too. You mean to tell me it's a mere coincidence Lebron AND D Rose get drafted by their home town teams? And I don't even wanna get started on the Patrick Ewing "bent envelope" lottery
