Steve spurrier knocks UGA, Saban, and fan expectations.

His thoughts on the Georgia-South Carolina game moving from the second week of the season to the sixth week in 2012.

“I don’t know. I sort of always liked playing them that second game because you could always count on them having two or three key players suspended.”

What a D*ck

Not trying to start an argument at all but how hasn't he done anything at South Carolina? No we haven't won the SEC Championship or National Championship but to say he hasn't done anything is stretching it. He is 10 wins away from holding the all time record for most wins at Carolina.

Pople say the same thing about Mullen. We were pure shit before he got here. We are mediocre now. It's a step up.

ETA,
No, I am not comparing the two men or the two schools, just giving my opinion.

Appreciate your opinion. I just can't see how people say Spurrier hasn't done anything here.

Let's see, since Spurrier has been here:

First 3 game winning streak vs Clemson in roughly 40 years

First SEC East title

First time beating a #1 team ever

First #1 recruit in the nation

First 11 win season ever

First time Carolina has ever beaten Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and Clemson in the same year (2 times in a row now)

Yeah, he really hasn't done anything at a school that went 0-21 over 2 seasons 5 years before he got here.

Sour grapes man.
I'm with you most of the time, but Spurrier has made South Carolina a national name.
His work in Columbia is even more impressive than this time at Florida, in my opinion
He's about to be the all-time winningest coach at Florida AND South Carolina.

Can we merge the threads?
