UNLV was never really a choice. Bennett will either be at UK or UF.

They had his dad on local radio. His dad wanted him at UNLV. The Mack is 20 minutes from Bishop Gorman. UCLA is 4.5 hours. His dad wanted to be able to drive 20 minutes to watch him. Last Ive noticed, since the Kevin love era, UNLV has won more than UCLA. And UNLV is in a better conference. Give me UNLV, new Mexico, and San Diego state over any other 3 in the PAC 12. If you think Bennett isnt considering UNLV you're delusional. Oh wait, I forgot who I'm talking to...

Dude, quit trying to act like you're more on the up-and-up on recruiting than me just because you're getting local news accounts.

If you think Shabazz (and family) would rather him stay in LV to play for a second rate program (UCLA is a premiere program) that is never on tv nationally than you are the delusional one.

They were never in consideration by ANYONE in their family. If so, he would have kept them for the final group to show the love.

Bennett will never stay in LV to play ball.

Not sure if you're aware the runnin rebels is a national name. Im not claiming to know more about recruiting but to say his dad didn't want him to go to UNLV is ludicrous. Awwww Shit!!!

Shabbazz actually took UNLV off his list pretty early. He had it narrowed down to UCLA Duke and UK for the longest time. SECats has a point that Shabbaz would want more national coverage.

TBH the kid wants his own team. He even said he chose UCLA because it was a school that needed resurrected. Doesn't sound like a one and done to me but i see him being a lot less successful there than he would here. His loss.

I would love to land Bennett tho, he torched the U.S. team and lead The World team in beating us.

I am not saying Shabazz really ever wanted to go to UNLV, I am saying HIS DAD, wanted to him to go but Shabazz wanted to go elsewhere. And I think he ended up at UCLA because of the Adidas thing...college basketball recruiting is the most scandalous thing on earth.

BTW< don't Bennett and Poythress play the same position?

Poythress is about like MKG. Can easily play the PF but is best at the SF.
