What does LSU fans think about this? I thought Johnson was going to be a solid coach for the Tigers, but looking back on his record, in 13 head coaching seasons, he's had 3 really big years, then a bunch of average-to-worse ones.
He's been able to parlay the first two to bigger profile jobs at Stanford and then LSU, but the move to TCU seems strange to me: he had his big year at LSU in his first season, then went through a couple of bad rebuilding years. But last season LSU won 18 games, was one game below .500 in the SEC, and played in the NIT, so it seems like he's about to turn the program in the right direction...
