University of South Carolina Football will host a weekend Coaching Clinic March 30-31 at The Zone in Williams-Brice Stadium. The clinic is open to all coaches from any level of football interested in learning more about the game and interacting with head coach Steve Spurrier and the Gamecock coaching staff.

The two-day event kicks off with a full schedule of events on Friday, March 30. Registration and an FCA Breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m. Head coach Steve Spurrier will officially welcome the attendees and introduce his coaching staff at 9 a.m. Offense will be the focus of the morning session, with quarterbacks coach G.A. Mangus, running backs coach Everette Sands and wide receivers coach Steve Spurrier Jr. all making presentations.

Following lunch, discussions of defense and special teams will highlight the afternoon session. Secondary coach Grady Brown, linebackers coach Kirk Botkin and special teams coordinator Joe Robinson will each cover a topic in their area of expertise. All coaches on hand will then get a first-hand look at the 2012 Gamecocks, as the team will work out on the practice fields late Friday afternoon.

Following dinner in the Zone, all attendees will be entertained by special guest speaker, Jerry Moore, the head football coach at Appalachian State University. Following Coach Moore's speech, a "Chalk Talk" and social time will take place with the South Carolina coaching staff. <br clear="left"/>
