Nashville, Tenn. - Vanderbilt used a strong start from Kevin Ziomek to shut out San Diego 7-0 Friday night at Hawkins field. Ziomek pitched eight scoreless innings to earn the win fanning eight and allowing only three hits. The Commodores' offense scored seven runs on 11 hits.
